Experience in a Chicken House Restaurant
One night after our shift… the barkada decided to eat out. It was raining hard and traffic and we have to fetch one of our friend in Tandang Sora Ave (we came all the way from Makati). We leave Makati around 5:30 pm and because of the traffic we reached Tandang Sora quarter to nine.
Of course, I was asked where we will eat. I told them, madami naman dyan sa Quezon City. We went to the stretch of Visayas Ave but we dont see any resto which is appealing to us. Until we noticed, Jo’s Manukan.
Its a typical grill resto with different ambiance. Sabi ko nga, pwedeng taguan to ng mga kabit. Medyo dark kasi at di sya well-lighted. I am amazed of some interiors nila. Like may buhay na chicken sa aquarium… (syempre, Chicken House nga eh.)
Order time!!!
Since I am busy inspecting the area, they asked me what I want. I told them, Grilled Chicken or whole fried chicken since most of this kind of resto will have that kind of menu (and of course, its a chicken house!).
But… they don’t have Chicken dish in the menu. Hahaha!!! (How come thy kingdom come… )
Chicken House with one dish in the menu list. Fried Chicken with Rice… (nag KFC na lang sana ako, unli gravy pa… yummm)
So since its raining hard and we are all in famish stage… we opted to order na rin. We order… pansit, sinigang and rice. Malungkot na dinner. I am not expecting this… Nawalan ako ng gana. Nasisi pa ako kasi ako nagturo sa kanila na dito na lang kumain.

Place – 3.0 stars – madilim at luma na ang lugar pero may kakaiba sa interior nila
Food – 2.0 stars – They should change the name of their establishment
Service – 3.0 stars – Normal service. Nothing unusual
